Rebecca Malamud: Photographs

Rebecca Hargrave Malamud began working with digital photography in 2001 shortly after the birth of her son, Nathan. Over the next four years, she hiked the Northern California and Southern Oregon Coast with a GPS and a Canon EOS D60, tagging each image with geographic metadata. She continues to work with photographic archives using the map as a metaphor to interrelate photographic images. Her current series deals with photography as visual storytelling.

Her photographic work has been exhibited in galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest, and has a permanent home at http://memory.palace.org/webchick/work/.
